There is so valuable nature on the Olkhon Island.
How wise our forefathers should be because they took care and saved for us this beautiful nature.
We, the local people, are very upset to look how worse the tourists can treat to the Baikal nature on Olkhon Island.
Please, don’t forget that you are nature guests here. After you, the other tourists will come, may be your friends, relatives and children.
Be careful with flora and fauna of the Olkhon Island. Please, drive only the made roads and not through the forest or along sand beaches. Please, take better bikes or ride horses it helps you to get much more impressions and you save the beautiful nature of the island.
Please, don’t leave a litter about if you are walking in the forest. Alight matches and cigarettes are dangerous.
Electric power on the territory of the camping is produced by our private diesel-electric power plant. If you need to use hair dryer or smoothing-iron please, discuss it with the administrator of the camping in advance, because the electric power is not very high.
There is always hot water in the steam bath for your needs.
The excursions are daily and start after breakfast.
There 5 shops in the Khuzhir settlement where you can buy all things you need (the prices are almost the city prices).
A lot of tourists we have in high season from the 15th July till the 15th August.
You can buy on the territory of our camping souvenirs and post cards, CDs about the Baikal Lake.
The Baikal weather can change any hour, so you better take warm clothes with you.
